Anguilla Has 6 Active Cases of COVID-19 Since Nov 30, 2020

THE VALLEY, Dec 7, 2020:: As of Monday December 7th 2020 at 6pm, Anguilla has 6 active cases of COVID-19. Since the previous update(30th Nov.), 4 positive cases have been recorded. Therefore; this increases the total number of confirmed cases to 10 ; with 3 recoveries recorded to date.

1 visitor who tested positive on November 21st was repatriated to the USA. Since the previous update , there were 405 negative test results and 4 positive test results associated with persons entering and leaving Anguilla. There are 21 pending results for persons who arrived late this afternoon; these tests are currently being processed by the Princess Alexandra Hospital Laboratory. There are 7 persons quarantined in government facilities and 347 persons in home quarantine which includes persons at villas, hotels and private dwellings.

The Ministry reminds persons to continue to reduce the risk by:
- Washing your hands for 20 seconds or more
- Covering your coughs and sneezes with disposal tissue or into a flexed elbow.
- Practicing social distancing; avoiding crowds, and maintaining a physical distance of 3-6 feet from others
